Part-Time Nanny
About The Position
Have you worked as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer? Have you raised children of your own? Are you seeking a position that allows you to customize your schedule? If so, we welcome you to our Nanny Team, working with a variety of families around your customizable schedule! As a back-up nanny, you will: Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2! Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development We provide: Pay: $20-23 per hour Receive paid training and a nanny kit filled with age-appropriate activities and games that you will bring to childcare assignments Enjoy opportunities to advance in the childcare field, and have the first chance to be placed with families seeking one consistent nanny, both full or part-time Opportunities for bonuses for excellent feedback and various contests for gift cards and extra cash About you: At least 18 years old Experience working with children, paid or unpaid Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area You are available any Monday - Friday for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm Working Conditions and Requirements: Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play Essential Physical Requirements: Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, paid or unpaid
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
- You are available any Monday - Friday for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
