About The Position
A busy family of five in Austin is seeking a professional, long-term n anny/family assistant to join their household team on a part-time basis ASAP. The ideal candidate is experienced, proactive, and genuinely enjoys working with children while supporting the smooth operation of the home. This role is perfect for a career nanny who values collaboration, organization, and being an integral part of a well-run household. This is a long-term, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a structured, collaborative environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am-12pm.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of prior experience as a nanny/family assistant
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, highly confidential
- Comfortable with animals, as the family has two dogs
- Familiarity with Google Calendar
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for three children (ages 11, 8 & 7)
- Assist with morning routines - breakfast preparation and clean up, packing lunches, getting ready for school
- Drive children to school and activities as needed
- Tidy up kitchen and common areas (dishes, counters, breakfast cleanup)
- Manage light household tasks such as laundry, organizing, and errands
- Maintain household supplies and restock as needed
- Communicate proactively with parents and EA regarding schedules, appointments, and household needs
- Assist with family calendar (in coordination with EA)
- Assist with scheduling and onsite support for household vendors (in coordination with the EA)
