About The Position

This Part Time Nabisco Merchandiser role at Mondelēz International involves fulfilling merchandising needs for customers by building relationships, stocking shelves, and managing displays for world-famous brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, and Triscuit. The merchandiser acts as an ambassador for Mondelēz, working with sales representatives to enhance product visibility and construct promotional displays in stores. The role requires adherence to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing display photos, ensuring brand representation and stock levels according to guidelines, and communicating with management regarding sales plans and issues. The position also involves following a daily schedule to ensure efficient in-store service and enhancing seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.
• Possess a positive and professional attitude, be self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
• Ability to download and use work related applications on your personal device.
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally push and pull over 50 lbs.
• Physically move products from the stock rooms to store floor and stock the store’s shelves.
• Live within 25 miles range from the primary location: Nashville, TN.
• Schedule availability required: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday.
• Start Time: 6:00 -8:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the merchandising needs of customers through communication & relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays.
• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees.
• Work closely with the sales representative to optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.
• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
• Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.
