About The Position

The Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science is seeking a Part-Time Weather World summer assistant. The Weather World summer production assistant helps with recording, editing, and production of the daily show. Duties also include help with social media, making MAX graphics, editing features, fill-in directing, and special project work deemed necessary by The Weather Communications group. This position will involve 4 hours of work each day (20 hours per week total) and is temporary - ending prior to the beginning of the fall semester.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recording, editing, and production of the daily Weather World show.
• Help with social media management.
• Create MAX graphics.
• Edit features for the show.
• Fill-in directing as needed.
• Work on special projects as assigned by The Weather Communications group.
