About The Position

As a Part-Time Merchandiser with American Greetings, you will play a crucial role in helping people celebrate special moments by managing and displaying a variety of celebration products in retail locations. This position requires independent work, effective time management, and organizational skills to maintain inventory levels and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation for multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet for job information and updates.
• Technological competency to learn and use a company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and days before/after major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products within greeting card departments and other retail locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and perform other inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule questions or concerns.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment utilizing effective time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
• Be available for additional working days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
• Review and plan your weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

• Starting pay of $13.50 per hour with increases after 6 months and 1 year of employment.
