Job Title: Part-Time Mental Health Clinician (Social Worker) Division/Program: (Youth Inpatient) Psychiatric Health Facility Starting Compensation: 31.46 - 33.46 USD Per Hour Working Location: Fresno, CA Working Hours/Shift: Every other Friday: (1st and 3rd Friday of every month),8am-430pm Division/Program Overview: 24/7 inpatient involuntary program 16-bed facility for acute youth (ages 12-17) Intensive treatment programs with individualized care plans Available for contracting Central Valley counties Moves clients through five phases: admission; engagement; learning; stabilization and linkage to resources and aftercare Learn more about SBHG at : https://www.starsinc.com/stars-inc/
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university required.
- (1) year direct service experience with emotionally disturbed adolescents in a health care setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).
- Licensed as AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an inpatient acute setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepares a comprehensive written psychosocial evaluation and assessment for admitted clients.
- Participates in treatment team meetings and is responsible for a coordinated treatment plan for each client.
- Provides individual and family psychotherapy.
- Leads or co-leads psychotherapy, psycho-educational and therapeutic activity groups.
- Responsible for permanency planning including assessing client's readiness for discharge; coordinating and planning with treatment team; making appropriate referrals for placement, case management and aftercare services; and coordinating benefits with Business Office personnel.
- Prepares and submits client documentation in EMR according to specified timelines.
- Provides consultation as needed with families on issues regarding admission, discharge, and aftercare plans.
