Responsibilities

• Accompany patients to patient rooms.
• Verify patient information by interviewing patients.
• Record medical history and confirm the purpose of visit.
• Explain common medical procedures to patients and assist in basic examinations.
• Assist physician with exams.
• Address patient questions and concerns.
• Handle charts and medical records.
• Sterilize instruments and manage inventory.
• Understand HIPAA regulations.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm appointments.
• Perform general front office duties.
