About The Position

The Meals On Wheels Driver position at Community First Solutions involves providing essential transportation services, including delivering meals to clients in the Butler County area. Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's licensure with proof of Auto.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must understand and be able to access email, use a GPS device, electronic tablets and learn new technology as it relates to the job.
• Must be willing to work after hours of standard operation including some weekends and Holidays.
• COVID-19 Vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver choice meals (frozen, chilled, hot, and/or therapeutic) to clients in a safe, friendly, responsible, and timely manner.
• Document the time of each delivery and report to supervisor any unusual circumstances or inability to deliver the specified meals.
• Deliver shelf stable meals to clients 3 to 4 delivery weeks per year.
• Deliver donated gifts to clients during the Christmas Holiday season as part of the Giving Tree program.
• Distribute communication items to client's residence during meal deliveries (i.e. menus, holiday letters, satisfaction surveys, other reminders, etc).
• Do vehicle checks daily for maintenance requirements/needs and provide documentation and feedback when needed to departmental staff.
• Attend and successfully pass all driver education classes as required by the department.
