About The Position

Penn State Abington's Business Program invites applications for adjunct instructor appointments in Management Information Systems beginning in August 2025 through December 2025. Continuation beyond this period is a possibility. The specific course available is: MIS 250 - Introduction to Problem Solving with Spreadsheet Analysis and Information Systems Management. Classes can be held in-person and via Zoom with an asynchronous web session weekly (50% in person/Zoom, 50% asynchronous web). MIS 431 Business Data Management. Classes can be held in-person and via Zoom with an asynchronous web session weekly (50% in person/Zoom, 50% asynchronous web). Students from other Penn State Campuses may be accessing these courses as well.

Requirements

  • Completed Doctoral degree in a business-related discipline preferred.
  • ABD and Masters level candidates will be considered.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduates.
  • Relevant professional work experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Management Information Systems.
