Chopra Lab is looking for part-time research support assistants. Responsibilities
- Prepare seeds for greenhouse and field planting.
- Assist in planting, crop management in greenhouse and field grown plant, and follow agronomic practices.
- Collect various plant data starting from seed germination to maturity.
- Collect and bring samples to the lab for PCR based genotyping, DNA, RNA and protein isolations.
- Perform crosses/pollinations and selves of selected plants.
- Harvest and send samples for analysis.
- Perform seed collection, drying, storage, and processing.
