About The Position
The City of Martinsburg is accepting applications for a part-time on call Municipal Court Magistrate to work within the Municipal Court system. The part-time magistrate arraigns defendants, assigns court dates, sets and processes bonds, commits defendants to jail pending appearance before the Municipal Judge/Chief Magistrate, signs jail release forms when required, completes all associated paperwork to the processes and performs other related duties as required.
