Part-time Lockbox Processor
About The Position
As a Receivables Processor you'll be supporting the Bank's Receivable Operation which enables customers to accept electronic and traditional paper-based payments. You'll capture remittance information using efficient technology and will transfer information to output files and reporting. You'll work with a team of Receivable Processors to expedite collections of payments and the posting of payment information while focusing on delivering a high level of customer service and providing a professional, prompt and accurate banking experience. Responsible for supporting the Receivables Supervisor on executing a comprehensive, prompt and efficient client experience. Support the daily workflow and ensures a smooth and efficient operation. Execute a variety of routine tasks which may include sorting mail, data entry, extracting payments and/or correspondence, reviewing payments to ensure accuracy, and scanning of deposits using high speed optical scanners. Ensure strict processing deadlines are met prior to designated cutoff times.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Ability to 10 key by touch and perform alphanumeric data entry with a high level of accuracy
- Entry level speaking and writing communications skills
