We are looking for a part-time Lifeguard. DESCRIPTION: Support pool operations and safety Monitor swimming activities to prevent accidents Maintain order in the pool and pool area. Rescue swimmers in danger and administer first aid. Inspect facilities for cleanliness and cleans pool and pool area, including restrooms. Determine chlorine content and pH value of water using testing kits. Check items in and out such as towels and recreation equipment. Complete daily assigned facility tasks as designated. May conduct or officiate swimming competitions/games. Report emergencies to Security, Supervisor and Contract Representatives. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED preferred
  • Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified
  • Certified Lifeguard Certificate
  • Must be a US Citizen with a US issued Passport or Real ID
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Unassisted
  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Clear and effective written and communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
  • Evenings, weekends and/or holidays will be required.
  • Flexibility a must.
