About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to contribute to our Emergency and Critical Care department at our Midtown, NY location! As a Veterinary Technician, you will triage and obtain patient history, identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR, place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines, monitor and care for Ventilator Cases, work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients, have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers, and nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents. Other relevant duties may also be required.

Requirements

• Licensed Veterinary Technician credential
• Experience in emergency and critical care preferred

Responsibilities
