About The Position

About the Opportunity Job Summary We invite applications for Part-time Lecturer (PTL) positions at the graduate level. We seek a colleague with an interest in teaching stem cells and regeneration for the Cell and Gene Therapy Professional Master’s Programs depending upon the programs’ needs and enrollment. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include the following: review and learn key teaching points within existing instructor guides; be willing to support high-quality teaching and standards through preparation of lectures based on course materials provided; facilitate rich respectful debates and discussions in an in-person or online class; provide timely review and grading of assignments with appropriate coaching and feedback to the students; consistently connect with students and their performance; adhere to Northeastern’s policies. Part-time instructors work under the direction of the director and will hold office hours as appropriate. Qualifications PhD in stem cell and regenerative biology or cell and molecular biology or a closely related field and/or an equivalent graduate degree plus at least five years of work experience in biotechnology, biopharma, pharmaceuticals or related industry. Proven platform skills required, as is an open, supportive personal style willing to receive assistance and coaching when needed from the faculty. Prior experience in a diverse higher education institution preferred.
