The Department of Kinesiology and Public Health is a major academic unit within the Bailey College of Science and Mathematics. It offers a BS degree in Kinesiology and a BS degree in Public Health to approximately 500 undergraduate students. The Department also offers courses to meet general education requirements and physical activity courses for all Cal Poly students. Requirements
- A Master's degree in Public Health, Community Health, Health Education/Promotion, Health Psychology, or related field with relevant experience in a public health setting.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES/MCHES).
- Preference given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in college teaching and/or relevant experience in a public health setting.
