About The Position

Teaching assignments may be in lower-division or upper-division courses in the following areas: American Government (such as American Political Institutions, California Politics/Public Policy, among others), Public Law, Political Theory, and Comparative Government. Please note that teaching assignments at California State University, East Bay may include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online. The policy and expectation of the California State University that all faculty members will perform all of their duties within the state of California.

Requirements

• Minimum M.A. in Political Science
• Ph.D. in Political Science, or a J.D. (law) preferred
• Some university teaching experience is required.
