About the position
The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time lecturer position in Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the Naveen Jindal School of Management. This role involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in various topics related to entrepreneurship, including entrepreneurial marketing, corporate entrepreneurship, and business model innovation. The position is part-time and does not guarantee renewal or tenure, as it is part of a lecturer pool that will remain active for one year.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
- Develop course materials and assessments related to entrepreneurial topics.
- Engage with students to foster a learning environment that encourages innovation and critical thinking.
- Stay updated on trends and developments in entrepreneurship and related fields.
Requirements
- An earned graduate degree appropriate to the academic discipline/topic.
- A record of productivity and professional achievement.
Nice-to-haves
- A terminal degree in the academic discipline/topic.
- Higher education teaching experience.
- Seven or more years of professional practice in startup strategies and marketing.
- Expertise in corporate innovation, strategy, and competition in high technology business.
