Part-Time Lecturer in Accounting
About The Position
Minimum Qualifications A minimum education level of a Masters degree in Accounting or related field with at least 18 hours of graduate work in Accounting is required. At the time of hire, at least four (4) years of professional experience in a mid-level (or higher) position related to the lecturer’s instructional field is required. Substantive knowledge of accounting theory and practice, demonstrated skill in teaching accounting. Preferred Qualifications An ABD or Ph.D. in Accounting is highly desirable as is teaching experience, professional registration, and a record of professional practice in accounting. Significant experience in public accounting with a CPA firm is highly desirable. Candidates with significant experience in Internal Auditing and Fraud Examination are highly encouraged to apply.
