About The Position

We invite applications for Part-time Lecturer (PTL) positions at the graduate level. We seek a colleague with an interest in teaching immunology for the Cell and Gene Therapy Professional Master’s Programs depending upon the programs’ needs and enrollment.

Requirements

• PhD in immunology or a closely related field and/or an equivalent graduate degree plus at least five years of work experience in biotechnology, biopharma, pharmaceuticals or related industry
• Proven platform skills required
• open, supportive personal style willing to receive assistance and coaching when needed from the faculty

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a diverse higher education institution preferred

Responsibilities

• review and learn key teaching points within existing instructor guides
• be willing to support high-quality teaching and standards through preparation of lectures based on course materials provided
• facilitate rich respectful debates and discussions in an in-person or online class
• provide timely review and grading of assignments with appropriate coaching and feedback to the students
• consistently connect with students and their performance
• adhere to Northeastern’s policies
• hold office hours as appropriate
