Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service background preferred.
  • Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
  • Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata, Yardi, and/or One Site).
  • Current Valid Driver's License.

  • Experience in a similar role within the property management industry.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and delivery skills.

Responsibilities

  • Executes the property's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals.
  • Performs all sales and leasing activities in person to achieve the property's revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Greets and qualifies prospects face-to-face, conducts property tours, and shows apartments.
  • Processes applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks.
  • Prepares the lease and move-in package, ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
  • Completes various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports as necessary.
  • Designs and executes offsite marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the property.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and interprets market and economic trends that may impact the property and recommends improvements.
  • Keeps informed of changes in technology, industry standards, leasing and sales tools and processes.
  • Handles lease enforcement processes including apartment inspections, evictions, collections, and notifications.
  • Follows up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize decisions to lease and/or renew.
  • Executes activities in support of the property's lease renewal program.
  • Responds quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns and questions.
  • Responsible for safety, cleanliness, and general appearance of the property.
  • Ensures that the property and show units meet the Company's standards for show quality by daily inspecting the property.
  • Resolves customer complaints and issues.
  • Develops and implements short- and long-term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy.
