About The Position

The Part-Time Leasing Consultant at Modern Craftsman - Ten Mile Apartments is responsible for engaging with prospective residents and vendors, qualifying clients, and showcasing the apartment community. This role requires a thorough understanding of apartment specifications, rental rates, and the surrounding area, as well as the ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor while addressing resident requests and concerns.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet prospective residents and vendors
• Qualify clients by determining their needs, eligibility, and desirability
• Tour apartment community and vacant apartments with clients
• Maintain current knowledge of apartment specifications, vacancies, notices, and rental rates
• Understand features and benefits provided by the community and comparable communities
• Know the surrounding area, schools, and other pertinent neighborhood information
• Understand application criteria, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move-in/move-out procedures
• Collect and store all deposits, fees, and rents
• Assist in implementing the marketing and leasing plan
• Ensure model apartments are ready for show
• Maintain work areas and office in a clean and orderly manner
• Prepare, maintain, and submit all administrative forms, files, and reports accurately and punctually
• Maintain contact with business and locator services, and perform off-site marketing visits
• Respond to all resident requests and concerns
• Maintain a positive attitude, professional appearance, and courteous disposition at all times
• Report unusual circumstances regarding residents, staff, or the property to the Community Manager
