About The Position
Evening and weekend Lead Facility Attendant will work under the general supervision of the Recreation Superintendent. The Lead Facility Attendant will: supervise the facility according to established policies and guidelines; monitor the facility patrons by viewing patron entry area, gym area, hallways, fitness area, etc.; enforce discipline policy as appropriate; review meeting room reservations and provide set-up/clean-up as necessary; supervise part time staff; handle patron concerns/situations using effective customer service skills; report all accidents and see that patrons receive proper care; provide a safe, healthy and sanitary facility; open, close and secure building at the appropriate time; secure cash and provide change to staff as needed; communicate to supervisor any problems or challenges experienced during scheduled shifts; and will perform other duties as assigned. Employees in this position work under supervision, and their work is subject to frequent inspection and review by supervisory personnel through conferences and attendance reports.
