About The Position

IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Laboratory Technician position at its facility in Greeley, CO. Ideal candidates will possess the following: A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Microbiology or related field (preferred) Basic math skills Good attitude and willingness to work with others Good communication and organizational skills Ability to follow written directions Ability to regularly lift up to 20lbs Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory Laboratory Technician duties include: media/sample preparation, sample sorting and log-in, performing specific sample testing steps (under supervision), transcribing results, data entry, inventory control, washing glassware, general laboratory cleaning, and other duties as assigned. The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00 hourly (DOE). This is a part-time position eligible for the following benefits: paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually) and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met). Part-time employees may be eligible for medical insurance after 6 months if working more than 30 hours/week on average during an initial 5-month measurement period. This position has multiple shifts available including Tuesday through Saturday, from 3:00pm to 9:30pm (with a lunch break), or Thursday through Monday, from 3:00pm - 9:30pm (with a lunch break).
