The Lab Assistant will support the LIN Lab – Learning Innovation Network Lab – in its research and innovation activities in plastic and craniofacial surgery. Under supervision, the Lab Assistant will perform operational-level laboratory work to support clinical and translational research. Responsibilities include preparation and organization of lab materials, safe handling of laboratory chemicals and solutions, and maintenance of specialized equipment such as 3D printers. In addition to hands-on laboratory tasks, the Lab Assistant will also participate in research support activities including computer-based research, data collection, and project coordination to advance the lab’s projects in surgical innovations, outcomes, and medical technologies. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $21.47 - $25.29 (Hourly Rate).
