About The Position

Requirements

  • High school graduation and two years of laboratory experience, or two years of college with courses in natural, physical or social sciences and one year of laboratory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Anatomical knowledge and previous experience working with anatomical tissue.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of general and specialty-specific surgical instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of surgical equipment, setup, and breakdown.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a gross anatomy lab or operating room.
  • Technical assistance experience in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the lab for surgical training sessions.
  • Handle and position cadaveric specimens.
  • Set up surgical draping and instrumentation.
  • Provide technical support during training sessions.
  • Field questions regarding specimens and instrumentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the lab and restock supplies.
  • Operate fluoroscopy and arthroscopy machines during training sessions.
  • Carry out other lab-related duties as assigned.
