Requirements

• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively for safety.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Ability to perform physical exertion, such as reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Cleans according to standards the following items and areas: Broilers, deep fryers, grills, ovens, range hoods, ware washing machines, and floors and walk-ins.
• Carefully rinses all dishware, tableware, and service ware for restaurants before sending them through the dish machine.
• Knows and practices Health and Safety standards as set forth by governmental agencies.
• Washes hands at each possible point of contamination.
• Cleans, deck brushes, and mop all kitchen floors.
• Follows 3-compartment sink procedures.
• Weekly de-liming of each dish machine.
• Uses all chemicals according to use, and knows where sheets are located.
• Reports any malfunctions of the dishwashing machine, (including temperatures too low or too high) or any other type of equipment used.
• Sets up, breaks down, and maintains all dishwashers.
• Empties all trashes and cardboard boxes to the dumpsters.
• Gives good internal customer service to the team members.
• Cleans and maintains all cooks lines.
• Performs any other duties as prescribed by supervisors in order to maintain kitchen.
