Outreach is hiring a Part-time Junior High Youth Worker at Outreach Warrenville to support 6-8th grade students academically and develop life skills during our summer program. Schedule Staff Training – June 1 to June 5 (MANDATORY) Program Dates – June 8 to July 31 Program Schedule – Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Some flexibility in scheduling hours- need availability Friday 8:30am-4:00pm. Benefits & Compensation $17.00 - $18.50/hour - Based on education, experience, and language ability. Referral Program. Responsibilities The Part-time Junior High Youth Worker is responsible for building relationships with students and facilitating learning in the summer day program for 6th—8th graders. The Part-time Junior High Youth Worker’s duties include academic and life skills instruction, community service and recreational activities, teaching Christian education, and facilitating experiential learning group work with students. The Part-time Junior High Youth Worker is responsible for parent communication and maintaining Outreach's standard of classroom behavior during program time. The class size averages 15 to 20 students.
