We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and trustworthy individual with excellent customer service skills and detailed oriented individual to clean and maintain a commercial location. While previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory. All applicants must successfully pass HBM prescreen check, preferably a valid driver’s license and have a dependable vehicle. Requirements
- Must pass HBM prescreen check.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Must have good public relations skills and communication.
- Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, frequently press, lift, push, pull, carry a minimum of 15lbs (up to 50lbs), be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk, stair and ladder climbing and stand throughout their shifts.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous janitorial, custodian experience or related experience is preferred, and willing to train.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the facility
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Communicate effectively and understand English
- Clean warehouse, restrooms, and office spaces
- Operate a vacuum for indoor cleaning
- Restroom cleaning and restock supplies
- Sweep, mop, interior and exterior floors, clean glass doors and mirrors
- Clean and disinfect surfaces that are being touched frequently
- Clean and wipe down all tables and chairs
- Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas
- Push trash bins as needed
