About The Position

The Janitor for our Saginaw locations plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees, visitors, and stakeholders. This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that all facilities meet high standards of hygiene and appearance. The janitor will contribute to the overall operational efficiency by promptly addressing cleaning needs and reporting any maintenance issues. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to uphold the facility's cleanliness standards. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene and prevent the spread of germs.
• Ensure floors, windows, and surfaces are kept clean and free of debris, stains, or spills.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning duties to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to established guidelines.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for special events or meetings as needed.
