About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY This position will perform cleaning functions, including cleaning offices & washrooms, washing floors, cleaning sinks, polish floors, cleaning carpets and general housekeeping duties

Requirements

A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a cleaning or housekeeping related role is required.
Successfully passing a criminal background check before his/her first day of employment
Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license.
Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, hightly professional environment.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
Ability to work well with others & independently.
Proven time management skills and a strong attentions to detail.
Works well under pressure.
Extended hours and shiftwork may be required from time to time.
Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
Ensures full compliance with the company's Health and Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.

Responsibilities

Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, stairways and other work areas.
Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures.
Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
Clean rugs, carpets, furniture, and draperies, using a vacuum cleaner.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Wash windows, walls, doors and ceilings.
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Replace light bulbs.
Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
May be assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed.
