About The Position

The College of IST’s Office of Learning Design has an opening for part-time Production Specialists with a specific focus on video editing. This position will primarily support the development and delivery of media content for online courses that are part of the College’s undergraduate and graduate degree programs. This position will be responsible for multimedia development work on various projects.

• Experience with additional Adobe CC programs and/or other multimedia development software is a plus.
• Familiarity and/or interest with any of the following is also helpful:

• Microsoft Office 365
• Canvas
• WordPress
• Copyright rules
• Online accessibility standards
• Familiarity with IST courses
• Smartsheet
• HTML/CSS/JS

Responsibilities

• Various video editing work via Adobe Premiere
• Captioning/transcribing
• Creating Audio Description
• Graphic design work via Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Development of custom interactive media
• File management of both working and completed projects
• Assisting with the development and revision of course materials in Canvas
• Updating and maintaining webpages
• Conducting regular course quality assurance reviews
• Attaining/maintaining accessibility compliance in courses/webpages
• Updating office records and documentation
• Working on related projects as needed
