Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years experience as Subject Matter Expert or Instructor Lead Training in electrical utility or industry in one of below categories: Electrical Safety Substation Maintenance Circuit Breaker Maintenance Relays (Mechanical and Microprocessor) Medium Voltage Cable Splicing & Fault Locating
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Word)
• The AVO Training Institute Instructor shall have the following attributes: Self-motivated Independent Computer literate Problem solver Cooperative attitude Use Good judgement Creative Structured Professional Personable Dependable Safety oriented

Responsibilities

• Course presentations utilizing lecture and hands-on laboratory instruction
• Developing course curriculum as the Subject Matter Expert
• Utilize technical knowledge to enhance power equipment and lab setup
• Providing customer support
• Travel - 50% to 75%
• Other duties as assigned by management
