About The Position
The Clinical Instructor will be a clinical resource person for the Surgical Technology students and will be responsible for clinical evaluations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing Surgical Technologist within the past 5 years.
- Certified Surgical Technologist or Tech in Surgery - Certified.
- Credentials must be in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
- Verification of vaccination requirements as specified by the CDC guidelines for healthcare providers.
- Current CPR certification and Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider, both certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
- Availability to work one or two days per week from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, as scheduled not to exceed 20 hours per week; clinical schedule varies based on program schedule.
