The Department of Criminal Justice and the Institute for National Security and Military Studies at Austin Peay State University are continuously taking applications for individuals seeking adjunct, or temporary instructor positions for all semesters. Instructors are needed both in person and online for all areas including, but not limited to, Intelligence Analysis, Research Methods, Security Analysis, National Security Foundations and Strategy, International Security Dynamics, Military Studies and Defense Policy, and International Law, Ethics, and Human Rights. The Department of Criminal Justice offers a Bachelor’s and a Master of Science in criminal justice, each with an optional concentration in homeland security. The department also hosts the bachelor degree in National Security Studies. The program enrolls about 40 undergraduate majors. The Department of Criminal Justice offers courses through diverse delivery methods, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid/blended formats. The Department of Criminal Justice is among the University’s largest. The position’s responsibilities include teaching courses as assignedby the chair.
