The Department of Criminal Justice at Austin Peay State University is continuously taking applications for individuals seeking adjunct, dual enrollment, or temporary instructor positions for all semesters. Instructors are needed both in person and online for all areas including, but not limited to, General Criminal Justice, Criminology, Research Methods, Homeland Security, Policing, Corrections, Forensics, and Courts/Law. Depending on qualifications, courses may be available at the graduate level. The Department of Criminal Justice offers a Bachelor’s and a Master of Science in criminal justice, each with an optional concentration in homeland security. The program enrolls about 320 undergraduate majors and 50 graduate students per year. The Department of Criminal Justice offers courses through diverse delivery methods, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid/blended formats. The successful candidate may contribute to and assist with the graduate program. The Department of Criminal Justice is among the University’s largest.
