About The Position

Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for part-time instructors for the Industrial Pipefitting Technology (IDP) program. Part-time instructors are hired on an as-needed basis. Your application will be placed in a pool for review as part-time teaching assignments become available. Part-time/adjunct faculty in Industrial Pipefitting Technology are responsible for teaching the objectives in each course assigned, the assessment of student learning, and reporting of student progress as required by the college.

Requirements

• Meets the minimum instructor requirements for any course assigned.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers, applicable software, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Teach the objectives in each course assigned.
• Assess student learning.
• Report student progress as required by the college.
