About The Position

The Part-time In-home Special Needs Child Caregiver role involves providing respite care for a military family with a child who has special needs or disabilities. The caregiver will work up to 40 hours per month, ensuring the child's safety and well-being while offering support to the family.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR Certification.
• First Aid Certification.
• Experience with children.
• 2 years of experience with special needs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide respite care for a child with special needs or disabilities.
• Work with an active-duty military family.
• Complete required CPR/First Aid certification and pre-service trainings.
• Undergo federal and state background checks, Child Protective Services clearance, and reference checks.
