About The Position

Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 10 to 21) with autism in their homes and in the community. This part-time position (4 to 40 hours per week-afternoons, evenings and weekends) is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child! Flexible hours, great pay ($19/hr), Maryland paid sick time and participation in our 401K plan! Great entry level position and resume builder for someone looking to start their career in Special Education! IMMEDIATE OPENING IN EASTON--TALBOT CO! HOURS ARE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 9:00AM-5:00PM.

Requirements

• Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• The ability to pass a State/Federal background check.
• Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance.
• Minimum of 100 hours of working/volunteer or personal experience with individuals with developmental delays.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure.
• Work under the supervision of one of our experienced Case Managers and gain experience using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties.
• Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis.
