About The Position

A wonderful, busy family in Westchester is seeking a part-time housekeeper. The schedule will ideally be on Mondays and Thursdays, or Tuesdays and Fridays, with 6 hours per day. This home is 6,000 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. They are seeking someone who can take ownership of household operations. This person must like dogs and be comfortable taking direction. They would love this person to know how to do laundry so as not shrink clothing.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in private, high-level households
• Knowledge of fabrics. Must be able to read clothing labels
• Dog friendly
• Legal to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping and organization
• Laundry, ironing, and general tidying/organization
• Take ownership of the home- let the family know what they are missing and keep the household running
• Know which products to use on floors vs on counters
• Not shrinking clothes and knowledge of clothing
