Part Time Housekeeper

About The Position
An Environmental Associate/Housekeeper cleans and sanitizes Resident Apartments and Common Areas of the Community, prepares vacant Apartments for move-in, and launders linens, drapes, and Residents’ personal clothing. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with some flexibility. Candidates should be open to working additional hours or days as needed to cover PTO.
Requirements
- an Environmental Associate – Housekeeping & Laundry must: a) demonstrate competency in Housekeeping & Laundry functions and be willing to perform either when required; and b) demonstrate the ability to timely complete scheduled tasks.

- relevant experience in a commercial housekeeping or laundry capacity, preferably in a health care facility
Responsibilities
- dusts and polishes furniture, picture frames, mirrors, and other fixtures
- washes and disinfects countertops and sink areas in Resident Apartments and Common Areas of the Community
- mops and disinfects bathrooms and hard surface floors in Resident Apartments and Common Areas of the Community
- vacuums carpeted floors in Resident Apartments and Common Areas of the Community
- refills paper products and soap dispensers
- empties trash receptacles
- Vacuums and mops floors in Common Areas, hallways, and other areas of the Community
- operates washing and drying machines to launder linens, draperies, clothing, towels, and other machine-washable articles
- performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Environmental Services
