About The Position

The Part-Time Hotel Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and
secure environment for hotel guests, employees, and property. This role involves
routine patrols, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and
providing professional assistance to guests while upholding hotel policies and
safety standards.

Requirements

• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises (interior and exterior) to ensure safety and security
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access points
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
• Enforce hotel rules, regulations, and safety procedures
• Assist guests and staff with safety-related concerns in a courteous manner
• Prepare incident and daily activity reports as required
• Coordinate with hotel management, local law enforcement, or emergency services when necessary
• Identify and report hazards, suspicious behavior, or unsafe conditions
• Control access to restricted areas when applicable
