The Ox Pub Host will minimally possess a high school diploma or equivalent. This position requires someone who is organized, comfortable communicating effectively with others and is a good time manager. The role involves greeting guests upon arrival and departure in a warm and inviting manner, working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining calmness and attention to detail, and adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The host must maintain a professional appearance and attitude, work safely with sanitation in mind, and ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the host podium and dining area. The position also requires effective communication with guests and team members, demonstrating interpersonal skills with diverse individuals, and the ability to work any shift needed. A TIPS certification is required according to Casino and State guidelines.
