Part-Time Grounds/Maintenance Worker - Stone Valley
About The Position
The Department of Campus Recreation is seeking individuals to fill the position of Grounds/Maintenance Worker at Stone Valley Recreation Area. Grounds/Maintenance Workers are responsible for maintaining the facilities and grounds of Stone Valley Recreation Area. Main functions of the position include providing general grounds keeping and cleaning services at Stone Valley Recreation Area including mow and trim lawn areas; operate trucks, tractors, powered ground equipment, and pneumatic tools; remove brush, leaves, grass clippings, paper and debris from grounds; may perform minor repairs; assist moving furniture, equipment, and materials; moping, sweeping, and cleaning floors; operating powered janitorial equipment.
Requirements
- MVR Check Required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- have access to a reliable form of transportation
- Applicants must be able to work varied hours including days, evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary
