About The Position

The Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant plays an essential role in delivering outstanding service to Members and guests while supporting the daily operations of the Golf Shop. This position assists with the smooth coordination of shop activities, from managing tee times and member interactions to maintaining an attractive retail environment. The attendant ensures that transactions and inventory processes are handled accurately and efficiently, contributing to a well-organized and welcoming atmosphere. A successful candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high service standards that enhance the overall Member experience.

  • Proficiency using reservation software programs.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word recommended.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of related experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Golf Genius and/or IBS system software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and servicing of Members.
  • Booking tee times.
  • Following inventory control procedures.
  • Assisting with tournaments, ringing up sales, closing the day, reconciling the drawer and preparing receipts for daily deposit.
  • Responsible for the receipt and proper tagging of all merchandise.
  • Responsible for maintaining stock levels of key products.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Keeping the shop clean and uncluttered.
  • Provides outstanding customer service to all members and guests always providing a positive member/guest service.
  • Maintains friendly demeanor; ensures clothing is clean, pressed, and in good condition and overall attire and appearance meets dress code guidelines.
  • Keeps supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Notifies management when stock replenishment is needed.
  • Performs other duties assigned by Director of Golf, Golf Pro and Assistant Golf Professional.
  • Answer phones in timely manner with a friendly and professional greeting.
  • Check in members/guests and update tee sheet with outside staff.
  • Making sure all members and guests sign their charge/sales receipts.
  • Maintains a clean and organized golf shop.
  • Setting up displays
  • Creating displays weekly or upon receipt of new product
  • Routinely rotates and updates golf shop fixtures.
  • Responsible for receiving merchandise into inventory.
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of Premier Club Holdings.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of client, company and personnel information.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
  • Adheres to company attendance standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
