About The Position
Powell's Books, the world's largest independent bookstore, has openings for part-time Generalist positions at our Beaverton store. The generalist positions are part of a team involved in a variety of tasks, including cashiering, customer service, and shelving. The successful candidates will have a strong and demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, adaptability and flexibility, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated experience ensuring accuracy in their work, and attention to detail. Schedule: Schedules will be regular and consistent. These two schedules are available: 5-9pm all shifts, with Thursdays & Fridays off; 8am-Noon all shifts, with Sundays & Mondays off. Pay Range: $16.30 per hour, with a wage increase to $17.00 per hour effective the first day of the pay period following the 31st calendar day from hire.
