About The Position

The position involves loading and unloading trailers, moving merchandise within the Distribution Center, and utilizing conveyors or forklift equipment. The role is essential for ensuring that merchandise is handled properly and efficiently throughout the distribution process.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise.
• Check, verify, and audit merchandise and enter data into remote data terminals.
• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise for relocation.
• Operate forklift type equipment to move and store merchandise.
• Replenish pick areas as identified by replenishment screens.
• Fill merchandise orders by selecting and moving merchandise to conveyors or boxes.
• Load merchandise onto trailers from conveyors or pallets.
• Scan non-conveyable or non-diverted merchandise before loading.
• Ensure shipment accuracy and that merchandise is not damaged.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Adapt to varied duties based on department assignment.
