About The Position

The Part-Time CLS Garden Center Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the retail store, garden center, and retail grounds by performing cashier duties, customer assistance, merchandising, inventory control, and maintenance. The Garden Center Associate will care for annuals and indoor plants in the greenhouse, garden center, retail grounds, and outdoor settings, and participate in the sale of nursery products and garden center merchandise, curating professional and creative displays for plants, garden décor, and seasonal items.

Requirements

Experience working in a fast-paced constantly evolving environment.
Basic computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

Perform various retail tasks, including cashier duties, customer assistance, merchandising, inventory control, and maintenance.
Care for a variety of plants in the greenhouse and outdoors.
Create seasonal displays.
Assist in garden center merchandise sales.
Receive and manage inventory.
Provide excellent customer service.
Operate a two-way radio.
Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays from March to December.
