About The Position

As a Fulfillment Associate at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. Your responsibilities will include being friendly and professional, responding quickly to customer and associate needs, ensuring merchandise is in good condition and accurately accounted for, and delivering products to customers on time. You will assist customers, delivery team members, and Installation PROviders by pulling and preparing orders prior to pick up, replenishing shelves, and loading merchandise into vehicles. Safety is critical in this role, as you will frequently lift and move merchandise for staff and customers. Additionally, if assigned to the Pro Department, you will be required to be certified on power equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and electrical lifts within 30 days of starting in that department.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
• 6 months experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and stocked store.
• Respond quickly to customer and associate needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure merchandise is in good condition and accurately accounted for.
• Pull merchandise safely for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely.
• Prepare orders prior to pick up and replenish shelves for next customers.
• Verify invoices against loaded products to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure deliveries are ready upon truck arrival and assist with loading merchandise.
