About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
• 6 months experience in inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading products or materials in or out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
• Respond quickly to customer and associate needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure merchandise is in good condition and accurately accounted for before delivery.
• Pull merchandise safely for loading onto delivery trucks and assist customers and staff in moving merchandise.
• Prepare orders for pick-up and replenish shelves for customers.
• Verify invoices against loaded products to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with loading merchandise, including large appliances, onto delivery trucks.
• Ensure deliveries are ready upon truck arrival.
